Monitoring System Serves as Foundation for Energy Efficiency at Little Elementary
Managing the energy of the second largest school district in Colorado, Jefferson County (Jeffco), is a difficult task. Energy management in Jeffco now has insight into fluctuating energy habits by students and faculty and the impact of efficiency upgrades. At Little Elementary in Jeffco, students were able to observe the electrical load of their school decrease as they began delamping overlit areas of the school.

Continuous Monitoring Reveals Serious Malfunction at North Arvada Middle School
Facility managers (FMs) know all too well that equipment can fail at any moment. At North Arvada Middle School (NAMS), in Jefferson County Public Schools (Jeffco), the second largest school district in Colorado, Jason Walling the facility manager noticed one such malfunction first hand. Jason noticed an upward shift in usage present at all times when looking at the website of NAMS’ newly installed eGauge energy meter.
